Individual Therapy Session

I work one-on-one with adult individuals in ongoing virtual sessions, either weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and scheduling options. Together we’ll explore all of the factors that could be contributing to feelings of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, and identify elements that make it difficult to navigate stress and life transitions in a way that feels good for you. In my work as a relational therapist, I have found that our “symptoms” are not always because of a one-time negative or stressful experience, but rather a lifetime of experiences.

Whether you experienced ongoing childhood stress, anxiety, or trauma, or a single event that changed you as a person, I help people uncover how these experiences have impacted them at their core and understand how to lean into their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through relational and inner child work, as well as mind-body practices, we’ll connect themes that have influenced your core wounds, beliefs, and coping strategies; how you interact and engage in your friendships, relationships, and family dynamics; and work towards creating a sense of safety in order to help you process, heal, and establish who you want to be as a person.

What should I expect in therapy?

  • Together we’ll work on identifying and understanding:

    • Core wounds, beliefs, patterns, and themes that contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma

    • How these manifest in the way you treat yourself, your relationships, and go about your daily life

  • While there are many factors, throughout any stage of life, that contribute to and shape who we are, our childhood and upbringing can also greatly impact the way we view and operate in the world, influencing the way we:

    • Form attachments and connect with those around us, whether it’s familial, platonic, or romantic

    • Speak to ourselves

    • Make decisions, prioritize goals, and handle hardships

  • I utilize relational and inner child work to help you:

    • Explore, uncover, and connect how these patterns formed and how they’re currently impacting you

  • I also incorporate mind-body practices, such as:

    • Mindfulness meditation, visualization, breath work and somatic exercises to help improve self-awareness and nervous system regulation

  • Through these approaches, my hope is that you’re able to:

    • Identify, process, move through and release pain that keeps you feeling stuck and helpless

    • Realign with your highest self so that you can live a life of fulfillment and satisfaction

How long are sessions/How often will we meet?

  • I work one-on-one with adult individuals in ongoing sessions, either weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and scheduling options. My sessions are 60 minutes in length; however, if you have a request to change the 60 minute session, I’m happy to discuss further.

How much does therapy with you cost?

  • Individual therapy sessions with me cost $125.

Do you take insurance?

  • No, I do not take insurance. If you have any concerns around payment, I offer a temporary reduced fee at $75 for 20% of my practice. If I do not have any openings for reduced fees, I am happy to discuss alternative options.

Where will sessions take place?

  • I currently provide virtual sessions only for Michigan residents as I work on opening an office space in Lake Orion in Oakland County.
